A Visit of Little Lives

When a local family welcomed a stray dog into their home, they didn’t know she was pregnant.

What they did know was that she needed a safe place to land. And they were ready to give it.

Soon after settling in, she gave birth to six healthy puppies. What began as a simple act of compassion quickly became a much bigger responsibility.

The family brought the new mom and her litter to Remedy for their first checkup and deworming. It was the start of a care plan focused on keeping everyone healthy from the beginning.

Today, all seven are doing well. The puppies are growing quickly, and their family is committed to giving them a strong, stable start.

As part of that plan, we’re also talking through next steps, including spay and neuter, there are no unexpected litters in the future and mom can stay healthy long-term.

This is what community care looks like. Neighbors stepping up. Accessible care at cost. Support that meets families where they are.
