When Care Can’t Wait, We Step In.

Zeus arrived at Remedy in critical condition. He wasn’t eating, he wasn’t drinking, and he was dangerously lethargic. His mom had just experienced a medical emergency of her own, and the thought of extensive diagnostics felt overwhelming. She was doing everything she could to keep her family together, and she was determined not to lose him.

Because of the Remedy Relief Fund, we were able to step in immediately.

Our team performed X-rays and began stabilizing Zeus with supportive care. During those diagnostics, we discovered a large mass on his spleen. He needed emergency surgery beyond what we could provide in our clinic.

That’s where community stepped in again.

With Relief Fund support and a partnership with Atlanta Humane Society, Zeus was rushed into surgery without delay.

Today, he is recovering at home with his mom and her young son, surrounded by the people who love him most.
