Nala’s Second Chance

Nala is a gentle 12-year-old senior who recently came to Remedy when her family noticed two small masses developing. With a history of cancer, they knew it could be serious and they didn’t hesitate to bring her in.

Thanks to our team’s swift response and our ability to offer care at cost, Nala was prepped for surgery quickly. She had both masses removed and recovered wonderfully post-op, even rocked a classy purple cover up. The next week weeks were spent recovering and healing while her family awaited the results of her tumors. Soon after, her biopsy confirmed the diagnosis: a grade 2 adenocarcinoma. Cancer, but caught in time and removed.

Today, Nala is officially cancer free.

At her follow-up appointment, she filled the room with calm affection, making biscuits, purring loudly, and leaning into every gentle touch. It’s moments like these that remind us why affordable and timely care matters so deeply, especially when time is everything.
