Staff Highlight

Jennie came to Remedy because she was drawn to our mission of making veterinary care both accessible and sustainable. She felt it was rare to find an organization that is truly committed to bridging that gap - supporting pet owners while still maintaining high standards of medicine.

She wanted to be part of a team that is intentional about impact, not just volume. Below are some more fun facts and information about the work she does

How do you see the impact of affordable care day to day?
We see the impact every single day - pets receiving care that may have otherwise been delayed or declined, and clients feeling supported rather than overwhelmed. We’ve also been able to provide services that allow pets to stay in their homes with their families when they otherwise may have been surrendered due to cost barriers.

How long have you worked in the veterinary field?
I’ve been in the veterinary field for nearly 20 years, gaining experience across many areas of patient care, client communication, and practice management. That perspective has shaped how I approach both medicine and service every day.

What is your most memorable workday at Remedy?
One of my most memorable days was a vaccine clinic we held in partnership with Atlanta Humane Society. In a single day, we were able to serve over 180 community pets. It was an incredible example of what’s possible when access to care and community collaboration come together.

What is your favorite thing to do with your dogs?
We enjoy conformation showing and hiking together. It’s a nice mix of structure and discipline in the ring and total chaos and fun on the trails.

If you could get every pet parent to do one thing, what would it be?
Prioritize preventative care. Routine exams, dental care, and early intervention can make a significant difference in a pet’s quality and length of life - and often prevent more serious and costly issues down the road.
